How to walk your dog

For this activity it is necessary for a special person to dedicate time, love and patience to a pet, since it requires a lot of care and responsibility, especially when it comes to training or learning to walk a dog.

There are many other factors to consider, from buying the right strap and collar to setting expectations in order to reward the dog for a job well done. This will take time; however, you will soon know what to do so that your pet and you can make the experience of walking an excellent one.

Part 1 of 3:
Walking a dog: fundamental ideas
Edit

1
Put a leash and a collar on the dog. There will come a time when your four-legged friend will know it's time to go for a walk when you simply take the leash. Use a collar since your dog is a puppy so you can introduce this idea to your mind from an early age. Place the collar on your dog's neck and say "Let's go for a walk" with the leash in plain sight.

2
Keep the collar tight, but not too tight. You will have to make sure that the collar is not too tight on your dog's neck. A good rule of thumb is to make sure you can put one or two fingers between the collar and its neck. [1] Also, you will not want it to be too loose to slide over your dog's ears if you try to pull it out.

3
Choose the side you want your dog to walk on. Coherence is important when training your dog for a walk. Choosing a side where the dog will walk will make it establish its place in the activity. The puppy will get used to walking with you to know what to expect. Just keep in mind that walking on a leash is not natural for your pet. [2] Therefore, you should expect there to be a period of adaptation.

4
Pull the strap close to your body. The most important aspect of learning to walk your dog is to maintain control so that your pet does not order you during the walk. You are the boss and that should also be reflected in your relationship when walking. [3]
Wind your traditional belt around your hand until there is very little strap between your pet and you.
Pull the strap close to your body; however, let there be enough strap so that you allow your dog to walk naturally.
Your dog will feel the resistance of the leash and will realize that getting ahead of you is unacceptable.

5
Talk to your dog. Your dog understands the tone of your voice. Do not feel frustrated. Encourage your dog with a phrase like "Good job" or "This is how it is done" when doing something right. Use a stern voice when you instruct him not to do the wrong things, such as barking at people passing by or growling at other dogs.

6
Reward your dog with special treats. Use treats when you teach your dog to walk, but especially when you want to teach not to pull the strap. Reward it frequently and consistently. [4]
Save a treat that your dog likes, especially for training purposes. Many pets get quite excited with a piece of hot dog, cheese or dried meat.

Part 2 of 3:
Buy the right equipment to walk
Edit

1
Talk to your veterinarian before buying equipment to walk. Your veterinarian will know your pet almost as well as you and will be able to recommend the type of walking equipment you may need. Trust the experience of the veterinarian when it comes to choosing a collar and a leash according to the weight or the specific body type of your dog.
He can help you with tips to avoid problems in your neck that may arise from the use of an inappropriate collar. [5]

2
Buy the right strap and collar for your pet. There are quite a few necklaces and leashes available in the market, however, not all are suitable for your animal.
For example, a traditional buckle collar and a strap hook are usually used when the dog does not cause much trouble when walking. However, there is a variety of more restrictive straps and collars available for those who have more difficulties with non-cooperative pets. [6]
Gliding collars help keep a dog that is easily distracted under control.
The pack leader style collars are used with dogs that like to pull a lot.
Harnesses are useful with dogs that have long necks.
Some necklaces of special use are the necklaces that emit a slight electrical discharge, the necklaces that vibrate and the collars with GPS.
The glow of the dark necklaces will ensure you are visible to others.

3
Consider using a marker device for training. Many consider this device as a safe and effective method to train a dog. Use it to reinforce good behavior and to communicate clearly and concisely with the dog.
The click sound, followed by a treat, will communicate to the dog that did the right thing. [7] The method with marker device is effective when you train a dog to walk and for other aspects of training, for example, when training him so he knows where to pee, bark and do tricks. Use the dialer device, followed by a treat, during the following cases:
When the dog starts to put on the leash.
When you want the dog to stop resisting the leash.
As the dog walks behind you or by your side.
Repeat use periodically throughout the ride.
Take off the leash when you return home.
Repeat daily use.

Part 3 of 3:
Make sure the ride is comfortable
Edit

1
Realize when it's too hot to walk your dog. The temperature will often determine the best time to take your dog for a walk. The right times of the day to walk a dog are very early in the day or very late at night. Avoid midday as the pavement may be too hot for your legs.
The best way to test if it is too hot is to place the bare hand on the pavement. If after only five seconds you have to remove the hand, then it is probably too hot. [8]
Image titled Walk a Dog Step 11
2
It takes enough water and food. Along with the bags to collect your dog's feces and the marker device, bring a portable container and a bottle of water for your pet.
Keeping your dog hydrated is important when walking for long periods of time or during the hottest hours of the day. In the summer months it is very important that your dog has plenty of water. [9] The healthy and easy to carry snacks are:
Strawberries
Watermelon without seeds
Sliced apple
Blueberries
Carrots
Crushed ice for the hottest days
Image titled Walk a Dog Step 12
3
Rest when necessary and look for shade when you can. Do not overdo it when you look for your dog to get used to walking with you, especially if it's the first time you have a necklace and a leash. Your dog will pull enough and there will be a lot of resistance, which can exhaust it. Find a shady place to rest for a few minutes along the promenade.

STATUE OF LIBERTY.

Statue of Liberty, is one of the most famous monuments in New York, the United States and around the world.

It is located on Liberty Island south of Manhattan Island, next to the mouth of the Hudson River and near Ellis Island. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French to the Americans in 1886 to commemorate the centenary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States and as a sign of friendship between the two nations. It was inaugurated on October 28, 1886 in the presence of the American president of the time, Grover Cleveland.

The statue is the work of the French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and the internal structure was designed by the engineer Alexandre Gustave Eiffel. [2] The French architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc was responsible for the choice of copper used for the construction of the statue. On October 15, 1924, the statue was declared a national monument of the United States and on October 15, 1965 Ellis Island was added. Since 1984 it is considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco. [2]

The Statue of Liberty, in addition to being an important monument in New York City, became a symbol in the United States and represents, on a more general level, freedom and emancipation with respect to oppression. Since its inauguration in 1886, the statue was the first vision that European immigrants had when arriving in the United States after crossing the Atlantic Ocean.
In architectural terms, the statue is reminiscent of the famous Colossus of Rhodes, one of the "seven wonders of the world." She was nominated for the "new wonders of the world", where she was a finalist.
The name assigned by Unesco is «National Monument Statue of Liberty». Since June 10, 1933, the National Parks Service of the United States has been responsible for its administration.

The statue represents a woman in an upright position, dressed in a kind of wide stole and on her head has a crown with seven peaks, symbolizing the seven continents and the seven seas. [59] There are 25 windows in the crown that represent gems found on the earth and the rays of the sky that shine on the world. [59] The diadem remembers the one that carried Helios, personification of the Sun in Greek mythology. Bartholdi opted for the crown, and decided not to wear the Phrygian cap, a symbol of freedom since antiquity. The statue holds in its right hand a lit torch, held aloft.
The torch refers us to the century of lights, although some consider it a freemason symbol. [60] In his left hand he holds a tablet, which he holds close to his body.
The tablet evokes the law or the right, and has the date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence of the United States, written in Roman numerals: JULY IV MDCCLXXVI

Lighting system
The original lighting system has been replaced several times by more modern equipment. In 1916 President Woodrow Wilson inaugurated the first system that introduces the lighting of the statue, consisting of two hundred and forty-six projectors, using 250 W incandescent lamps, located at the tips of the star at the base of the monument and other points on the island, and fifteen 500 W on the torch. Later, in 1931 and 1945 the previous illumination intensified, more colorful effects were added and shadows were eliminated.

Redesign of the torch
Together with the lighting improvement project of 1916, the torch, which was initially of copper, was renovated using a total of 600 individual stained glass pieces of yellow color to enhance and beautify the lighting effects upon lighting.
This work was executed by Gutzon Borglum, known for his colossal sculptures of Mount Rushmore. The light output of the torch was also increased. On July 30 of the same year, due to an act of sabotage known as Explosion Black Tom, access to the torch was officially closed. [31] [45]

Elevator and heating
Although the construction of the base began, the installation of an elevator was already planned, the first was not installed until 1908-9. Subsequently it was replaced by a more modern one in 1931.

In 1949 a heating system was installed at the base of the statue.
Before this improvement, during the winter months, the enormous mass of the base (about 48,000 tons) became increasingly cold, and when the air became warmer there was a condensation that impregnated the walls and harmed the structure and its facilities. On the other hand, the heating, in addition to solving the problems of cooling and condensation in the base, added greater comfort to employees and visitors.

Structural improvements
In 1937 several platforms and stairs were replaced on the pedestal of the statue. We proceeded to an inspection of the structure and the copper plates of the statue, from the torch to the beams on which the structure rests.
The iron support was replaced in the sections where it had been oxidized, and the rivets that had been released were replaced by new ones and the frames of the crown of the head were reconstructed with new iron ones.
No renovations were made to the spiral staircase inside the statue.

THE ROMAN COLISEUM.

The Colosseum (in Latin: Amphitheatrum Flavium Romae) is an amphitheater from the time of the Roman Empire, built in the first century AD. C. and located in the center of the city of Rome.

It was originally called Flavian Amphitheater (Amphitheatrum Flavium), in honor of the Flavian dynasty of emperors who built it, and was renamed Colosseum by a large statue that was nearby, the Colossus of Nero, which has not reached us. For its conservation and history, the Colosseum is one of the most famous monuments of classical antiquity. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1980 by Unesco and one of the New Seven Wonders of the Modern World on July 7, 2007.

The materials used in the construction of this are blocks of travertine, concrete, wood, brick, stone (tufa), marble and stucco. In antiquity it had a capacity for 50,000 spectators, with eighty rows of stands. [1] [2] [3] Those who were near the arena were the Emperor and the senators, and as they ascended they placed the lower strata of society. Gladiator fights and public shows took place in the Colosseum. It was built just east of the Roman Forum, and the works began around 70 AD. C. and 72 d. C., under the Emperor Vespasian. The amphitheater, which was the largest ever built in the Roman Empire, was completed in 80 AD. C. by the Emperor Titus, and was modified during the reign of Domitian. [4] Its inauguration lasted 100 days, involving all the Roman people and dying in its celebration dozens of gladiators and beasts who gave their lives for pleasure and the spectacle of the town. [4]

The Coliseum was used for almost 500 years, celebrating the last games of history in the 6th century, much later than the traditional date of the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 AD.
The Byzantines also used it during the 6th century. In addition to gladiator fights, many other public spectacles took place here, such as naumaquias, animal hunts, executions, recreations of famous battles and plays based on classical mythology. The building ceased to be used for these purposes in the High Middle Ages.
Later, it served as a refuge, factory, seat of a religious order, strength and quarry. From its ruins, abundant material was extracted for the construction of other buildings, until it was converted into a Christian sanctuary, in honor of the captives martyred during the early years of Christianity. This measure helped to stop their plunder and to keep it.

Although the structure is seriously damaged due to earthquakes and stonemasons, the Coliseum has always been seen as an icon of Imperial Rome and is one of the best preserved examples of Roman architecture. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions of modern Rome and is still closely linked to the Catholic Church, so the pope heads the way to the amphitheater every Holy Friday. [5] [6]

History
Description Edit
The Flavian Amphitheater is a huge oval building 189 meters long by 156 wide and 57 meters high, with an elliptical perimeter of 524 meters.
It is often said that this building has been a model for modern sports venues, since it has a very ingenious design and effective solutions to current problems.

The sand and the hypogeum Edit

The hypogeum outdoors.
The pitch itself was an oval of 75 by 44 meters, and was actually a platform built of wood and covered with sand. The entire subsoil was a complex of tunnels and dungeons (the hypogeum) in which the gladiators, the condemned and the animals were housed. The ground had several trapdoors and forklifts that communicated with the basement and could be used during the show.

The plan of the sand had a complete drainage system, connected to four imposing sewers.
It has been suggested that they obey the need to evacuate water after naval shows. However, it seems that already Domiciano, abandoning the idea of the naumaquia, paved the sewers and placed the forklifts in the sand for the gladiatorial combats.
The wooden deck is no longer preserved, so that the entire underground labyrinth remains outdoors today.

The structure Edit

Section by the cave.
The Roman Coliseum was perhaps the greatest work of Roman architecture, and it used the most varied construction techniques.
The pilasters and the arches are travertine placed without mortar. In the lower parts and in the basements the tufa was used in the same way.
Many of these ashlars were stapled with metal staples.
The vaults holding the cave were made by pouring cement mortar directly on wooden forms, an innovation that lightened the factory.

The fact that the building was located on a lagoon forced to excavate up to 14 meters of unusable silts and make a foundation of almost 13 meters of opus cementicium (courses of lime mortar and alternate stones).

The facade Edit

The original facade. From bottom to top, the columns are Ionic, Corinthian and composite.
The facade is articulated in four orders, whose heights do not correspond to the interior floors. The three lower orders are formed by 80 arches on pilasters and semi-columns attached to a purely decorative entablature. The fourth is formed by a blind wall, with attached pilasters and windows in one of every two bays.

Regarding the aesthetic aspects, we see the combination of arch and lintel and the overlap of Tuscan, Ionic and Corinthian orders. The last floor has an undefined style that was cataloged in the sixteenth century as a composite. It was common to superimpose different styles on successive floors, but it was not usual to make buildings with four overlapping orders. The communications between each floor were made through stairs and concentric galleries.

HOW TO PREPARE CHILDREN FOR SCHOOL.

How to prepare children for school In many countries, the three years mark the beginning of pre-school education.

Although most programs are optional, many parents choose to send their children to school around the age of three.
Some children have previously been in daycare or kindergarten, others have been at home with their parents, relatives or a family. caregiver, and others have had a combination of both.

Whatever the arrangement your preschool has had, if you decide to send him to school at age three, it is advisable to prepare him for this exciting step forward. As with any transition, it is very important that the child becomes familiar with the changes that lie ahead.
The more we prepare, the easier it will be to join the school. What can we do to prepare them for school? Talk to them about the school, explain what it means to go to school, what happens at school, who will go, who is the teacher, what activities are done at school and let him ask you many questions about the school. If you have a little brother or friend who is already in school, suggest that he / she ask questions to him / her directly and share his / her experience. If you have the opportunity, visit the little school together. In many schools, they will allow you to spend some time with your preschooler in class before you have to leave. This is what experts recommend.
In general, parents start spending time in class and little by little they let the child spend more time on their own. At home they can read books about the school and even You can make your own book with pictures or drawings about the first day of school; What is going to happen? Who will accompany him? Who will be at school? What will it take? What activities are they likely to do? Who will pick you up? Reading books over and over again will help you feel more confident during your transition to school. Ask at school if you can bring a household item to have with him / her during your first few days. Having a familiar object in an unfamiliar environment will help you feel more comfortable.
Sometimes, it's a good idea to give him a picture of his family that he can look at when he feels lonely or missed at school. At home, talk openly about the feelings one has when embarking on a new unknown adventure. Talk about the fear you may feel but also about the emotion that you feel your child will start school. HOW TO IMPROVE YOURr POSTURE.

How to improve your posture

Having a good posture is simple and is very important if you want to keep your body and mind healthy.

When you exercise a correct posture, your body aligns itself. This can relieve fatigue, back pain, neck and head. Having an acceptable general health and sitting or standing properly, will elevate your bearing and confidence. This article will show you several ways to develop and maintain good posture.

1
Think of a rope. Always imagine that a rope that comes from above the head, pulls you gently towards the ceiling. Visualize techniques like this can develop your sense of proper posture and height effectively.

2
Ask someone to make a big X with tape on your back, from one shoulder to the opposite hip. Then, place a straight line across your shoulders by closing the X on top. Use it during the day to help reeducate your back. This works very well if you keep your shoulders back before wrapping, use wide, non-elastic tape and change it daily.

3
Avoid sagging shoulders when you walk. Try to walk as if you were swinging a book in your head.

4
Use the color If you need to remember the posture, think of an exclusive object or color. Every time you remember the object, check your posture.

5
Focus on the calves. Change your posture and balance yourself depending more on the calves. Rest and put energy in your steps. You will see that the upper part of your body will relax and assume an upright posture which will remove pressure on your back, shoulders and neck and will work on your abdominal muscles. This is fabulous, as you will strengthen your ankles and your abdominal muscles like stone!

Sit firmly in the chair! How many times did your mother tell you that? For many people, this suggestion was accompanied by "eat your peas" or "look where you walk". Mom was right, at least in the posture.
Especially because many people spend the day sitting at their work. It is important to follow this basic guide to improve posture and health.
If you work sitting during the day and have the option to choose a chair, choose an ergonomic that supports your weight and adjusts to your height. If there is no option, use a lumbar support pad.
Align your back with the back of the chair. This will help you avoid stooping or leaning forward, which you could do after sitting for a long time at your desk.
As in the standing posture, keep the shoulders straight and aligned, your right head and neck, back and heels aligned.
Keep both feet on the floor or footrest (footstool, if you do not reach the floor with your feet).
Adjust your chair and your position so that your arms are flexed, not out. That the elbows are flexed between 75 and 90 degrees.
If they are straighter, you are very far back, and if they are more than 90 degrees, you are sitting very close or very stooped.

Take breaks standing. Even when you have the best postures in the best chairs (and it is debatable if there is such a thing [1]), you need to stand up, flex, walk around, do some exercise or just stand still for a few minutes.
Your body was not designed to remain seated and in recent studies from the University of Sydney it was found that sitting for prolonged periods is a risk factor of cause of general death, so regardless of your physical activity. Move on!

Meaning of life.

In Latin is where the etymological origin of the word  is found.
Specifically, it comes from the word vita, which in turn emanates from the Greek term biographies. They all mean precisely life.

The concept of life can be defined from different approaches. The most common notion is linked to biology, which holds that life is the ability to be born, grow, reproduce and die.
In this sense, life is what distinguishes men, animals and plants, for example, story objects like a rock or a table.

Life is also the state of the activity of organic phenomena and the internal force that allows those who possess it to act. Another way of interpreting life is linked to the ability of a human being to manage their internal resources and adapt to the changes that occur in their environment.

When we see a man walking or a dog running, it is unquestionable that we are before beings with life.
On the other hand, at the best time for when and when life ends Religious questions are mixed with science to affirm (or not) that life begins from the first moment of fertilization, which amounts to an affirmation that the Abortion is unfailingly a murder (ending a life). Other positions that can be in their early stages.

Something similar happens with death. The irreversible interruption of brain activity is equivalent to the end of life, even if the person continues to breathe.

In this sense, we have to make it clear that there are many ways in which a person's life comes to an end. However, when this happens voluntarily on that part it is because he opted for suicide. The problems of staff, work or family are often the most frequent causes that lead someone to make the decision to end their existence.

However, we can not forget that there is another term closely related to life and death. We refer to euthanasia. This can be defined as the action carried out by a person with the aim of avoiding suffering.

That is to say, that person is waiting for the death of that being that is suffering painfully.
You can do it with the consent of the patient or simply by personal decision.

Euthanasia is one of the issues that have generated the greatest controversy in the world, establishing two opposing sectors: those that defend it and those that reject it completely.
In the first case, they argue that it is a synonym of dignity with respect to human life, while those who oppose consider it an attack against the inviolability of life.

Retrospective view of the concept of life.

Traditionally, life has been an abstract concept and, therefore, diffuse and difficult to define. For this reason it used to be defined in opposition to non-life or inertness, especially alluding to differentiating properties. What confused most were the viral structures, which do not share all the most common properties of the rest of the living structures. Likewise, the border between life and death was not clear, making it difficult to determine when exactly the latter occurred.

Given the confusion at the time of defining life, it was decided to do so based on the results obtained after the complete development of the DNA, and not with respect to the potential of that molecule, so that some common characteristics were established:

Living beings require energy. That is, they are nourished.
Living beings grow and develop.
Living beings respond to their environment.
Living beings reproduce by themselves, without needing external help; this being a key fact.
These characteristics pointed to a definition of life so simple that allowed to include as living beings, for example, mineral crystals, which grow, respond to the environment, reproduce and of course consume energy to grow and spread. It was necessary, then, to look for other characteristics of life beyond purely intuitive ones.

The universal definition of life was considered as something more complex and difficult. Different definitions were offered, and it was a matter of pleasure to consider one or the other as good, as can be seen in the Definitions of Life section. In any case, the concept of life has followed an evolution parallel to that of the science that is dedicated to its study, biology.

The tower of Pisa.

The tower of Pisa or leaning tower of Pisa (in Italian: tower pendente di Pisa) is the bell tower of the cathedral of Pisa, located in the Piazza del Duomo in Pisa, in the city of the same name, municipality of the Italian region of Tuscany and capital of the homonymous province.

Have you ever heard that there is a tower somewhere and that it is not right as it should be in theory to be; a true masterpiece and they all associate it with a plate of food, but it is definitely not called Pizza Tower, but it is from Pisa and we will guide you about where the Pisa Tower is, so you can go whenever you want.

This tower is the bell tower of the cathedral of Pisa, so when you see that the name is repeated, you can realize that Pisa is a place and not just part of the name of the tower; Pisa is a municipality in Tuscany, a region of Italy.

Then your question is already answered and little by little and knowing much more of history already; Where is the tower of Pisa is in Italy. In fact it is not at all strange that in the old continent, Europe, there are the most interesting ancient treasures of humanity, because that is where everything began.
Where was the pisa tower built in Italy?
The reason why this tower began to lean almost from its construction, is because it was built on a ground with unstable subsoil, apart from that, its foundations were weak and the general design of it is considered badly done, even though be so beautiful

Who was the architect of the pisa tower?
For some a construction error, for others one of the wonders of the world, without a doubt the Tower of Pisa is in the list of places that I must visit before dying. Have you ever wondered why the tower is tilted?

Its design is a mystery, first attributed to a Pisan artist of the twelfth century called Guglielmo. But it is known that the bases of the tower were bad from the beginning; Some time later, when the third floor was built, the tower had a new inclination; after this the work was abandoned close to a century, long time after about 1270 the architect Fernando Di Vincenzo set out to finish the work and stabilize it, so I try to add 4 more floors to try to tilt it to the other side, but It did not work, then another architect wanted to try again this was Tommasso di Andrea Pisano, he finished building the bell tower.

The work was completed but as soon as it was finished the tower began to tilt again towards the South. Many years later, around the 2000s when the tower was considered a heritage of Pisa, the Italian government wanted to stop the inclination and started working on it, so they eliminated 38 square meters of land around the base and with this action he supposes that he should not lean more.
Nowadays thanks to the Tower of Pisa it attracts thousands of tourists around the world arriving in the city to get to know it.

What is next to the tower of Pisa?
Remember that although the pisa tower is famous for its particular shape, it is only the bell tower of the Cathedral of Pisa, it is the episcopal seat of the city of Pisa, it is a beautiful and elegant construction of Roman style. It was consecrated by Pope Gelasius II in the year 1119

This beautiful construction has marble, beautiful mosaics and bronze in its external failure. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world.

What to see and do in Pisa in a day?
If you decide to travel to Pisa, the first thing you have to do is go to the Plaza de Miracoli (Square of Miracles) located in the heart of the city, it is declared a World Heritage Site. The Duomo, the cathedral of Pisa and the leaning tower of Pisa.

The holy field, is a beautiful building also located in the square called so because it is believed that it was built with holy land brought from a boat from Jerusalem, contains 600 Graeco-Roman style gravestone and on display have 80 sarcophagi next to urns and sculptures of ancient Rome.

The botanical garden of Pisa, famous for being the oldest in the world, opened since the eighteenth century, has a large collection of plants ranging from creepers to aquatic.

Without a doubt, Pisa is a destination for art lovers; Do not forget to visit it someday.

Why is the Leaning Tower?
The tower of Pisa is inclined because there were problems in the work.
The first 3 floors were built in 5 years and when they realized the tower was tilted to the North.

Five simple tips for a colorful lawn.

Five simple tips for a colorful lawn

One of the most desired objectives in gardens around the world is to have a green and lustrous lawn. Here are five simple tips to get a perfect lawn.

The warm season has already been established and it is time to enjoy its beautiful lawn. If you take care of your lawn properly, it will be green and lustrous at all times, and will no doubt be the envy of the entire neighborhood. To help you, we have created a list of important aspects that you should keep in mind:

1. Parting
The regular bucking of the lawn is very important as it helps thicken the grass. Regarding the cutting technique: little and often it is better than a lot and at once. Change the direction and cutting pattern each time so that the roots of the grass are not pressed in the same direction. For each cut, the rule of thumb is to reduce the stem to approximately half or two thirds, about 5 cm. In the middle of summer it is advisable to leave the grass a little longer, since it will better withstand periods of drought. [If you do not have enough time or energy to mow your lawn frequently, an automatic mower can be a good solution].

2. Subscriber
Bucking removes many nutrients from the grass that have to be replaced to obtain optimal growth. Therefore, from the beginning of spring it is advisable to fertilize the lawn every four or five weeks. Your lawn needs nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus and you can find special lawn fertilizer mixtures for sale at your local garden dealer. The amount to be used is indicated on the fertilizer containers.

3. Irrigation
If you want your lawn to be green and lustrous throughout the summer, it is very important to water it. The frequency of irrigation for your lawn depends on the temperature and humidity. When the grass needs water, it begins to acquire a bluish and grayish tone and the oldest leaves of the plant begin to curl or wither. If you have planted a new lawn, you will need to water it once a day so that the seeds can germinate and a strong root system can be formed.
Nowadays, new technologies allow watering the lawn comfortably. It can water
your garden manually or automatically, with partial or total automation. The GARDENA product range includes fixed and mobile irrigation solutions, as well as irrigation pumps and programmers. If you wish, you can let automated, intelligent and programmable irrigation and sprinkler systems take care of all the work. All you have to do is program and place the sprinklers.

For more information about GARDENA irrigation solutions click here http://www.gardena.com/mx/water-management/

4. Weed control
With persistence and the right tools, you can win the battle against your lawn weeds. Many of the weeds can be extracted by mechanical means. Smaller weeds (such as veronicas or white clover) can be extracted with a manual scarifier, which is used to prevent and hinder their growth. Daisies and dandelions should be extracted with a root borer and it is very important to remove the maximum length from the root in order to prevent them from growing back. If there is still no way to make them disappear, you can resort to herbicides. If the bad roots have overcome the grass, the best solution is to re-structure the entire soil and cover it with turf on a roll.

Recommended product:
GARDENA root starter to effectively remove weeds standing up, without bending over.

5. Scarification and aeration
The roots of the grass need air to breathe and grow. Often, the grass floor is not so sandy as to allow air to reach the roots and, as a result, growth does not develop. With the help of a simple rake you can make holes in the lawn and fill them with coarse sand. In this way, surface water can flow and transport oxygen to the roots. The scarification allows to extract dead herbs and other remains of your lawn. If you remove the straw layer from your lawn, it will provide more space for the lower parts of the grass to breathe and make the stems grow better.

Recommended product:
GARDENA EVC 1000 electric scaler to radically eliminate weeds and moss and revitalize your lawn.

THE 7 TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL IMAGE

THE 7 TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL IMAGE.

Your appearance speaks of you, then makesure you project a high level, says David Navarro; Know what clothes you should wear and what colors to use to convey authority, explains the expert.
A good image opens many doors and creates new opportunities.
The greater the image, the greater the power of influence.

1) Your appearance and dress must support your position.

If you exercise a position of authority and leadership, your image should support your capacity, knowledge and experience. They are useless many years of study and preparation but the projections. Your image should make the path easier, not become an obstacle.

 2) Learn to dress according to your body type.

Recognize the shape of your body is crucial to project a high level image. Only in that way can you know what cut of clothes favors you. For example, a two-button suit will look better on a thin, short-waisted man, while a three-button suit will be better for a short man.

A dress shirt with an Italian collar is better for a man with a long face. A diagonal striped tie helps to widen the torso of a thin man. A tight tie knot will look better on a man with a round face. Trousers with Valencian will be recommended for a tall man.

As you will notice there are secrets in the male dress, not to mention the rules of style and elegance.

3) Identify the colors that best suit your skin tone.

Some men know the meaning of colors, that is, the psychology of color. But in terms of male personal image knowing that meaning is not enough. Colorimetry comes into play, that is, the harmony of the colors used near the face with the tone of our hair, eyes and skin. When I discuss this topic in my men's image seminars I always tell them about the importance of color.
"Every man who learns and masters the subject of color in his clothing will be distinguished from any other, projecting the message he wants, and looking more capable and confident."

They are surprised when I show that color in the male image is more important than in women, because men do not use makeup or dye their hair (with some exceptions). We only have the color of the clothes to achieve a healthy, aesthetic, harmonious and attractive appearance.

The eye delights in observing chromatic harmony. This explains why certain combinations make you look better than others, and not everyone looks the same. Thus, an olive green color will not look so good on a man with very dark skin and dark brown eyes, than on a dark-skinned man with green eyes. The secret is in harmony.

A tip: The color you use under your face should NEVER be noticed before your face. If this happens, then the color you are using is not harmonious with your color characteristics in eyes, skin and hair.

4) Know the communication codes in clothing to project authority and accessibility.

Clothing is itself a non-verbal communication code. By the dress of a man we know what profession he has, his hierarchy in the company (operative, middle management, managerial), his educational, social and economic level.
At this point I want to be very clear, because it has nothing to do with the price of clothes. For example, a code of authority in men's clothing is the use of cufflinks (which should not be strictly an expensive brand), the important thing is that they communicate power and authority.

Smooth colors project more power than garments with patterns such as stripes or squares, which communicate accessibility. Thin fabrics are more elegant. A dress shirt without bags projects more authority.

Very few men know the nonverbal meaning of clothing. Know these codes and you will be able to project an authoritative or accessible image according to your event or your objective.

 5) Avoid the mistakes of image more committed by men.

Knowing the rules of good dress is part of your culture and education. You and I know very well that male professional success encompasses many more factors than just your appearance and dress, but if you take care of them, you will go further and in less time to the top in the business world.

Some of the most common mistakes made by men:

a) Wear shoes without polishing, worn or dirty.

b) Use the wrong size on the clothes.

c) Use jewelry. The only jewel allowed is the wedding ring. The watch does not fall into this category. It is an accessory.

d) Carry the cell phone in the belt.

e) Keep the pen in the shirt pocket. Between many more...

6) Never forget the professional environment in which you develop and the position you exercise.

You are the image of the company where you work, your appearance, your logo. Many men believe that they should always wear suits and ties, which is a mistake. Everything depends on 3 factors:

a) The company where you work: your industry and products that you offer.

b) The type of clients.

c) Your position.

Thinking about a suit and tie to make the best impression is not always true. An executive who works in a company dedicated to the manufacture of automotive machinery that has as indirect customers to mechanical engineers of medium profile, would make a mistake if he wore a suit and tie.
Your customers do not dress like that. The suit, dress shirt and tie communicate a code of authority and power, instead of accessibility. He will have created a barrier through his clothing.

On the other hand, an executive who works in an insurance company, with high profile clients who usually wear a formal dress, if he decides to visit them dressed in a shirt without a tie and jeans, will also be a mistake. His clothing is not appropriate for an executive who must project security and professionalism to his clients.

Now you understand why, even if it's fashionable not to wear a tie, does not it always suit you? If you wear formal or casual, in both cases you should project professionalism.

7) Your personal hygiene must be impeccable.

A respectable business man always takes care of his personal hygiene, regardless of whether in his appointments he will deal with more men. Many believe that hygiene is only important when you have a love appointment. Neatness is welcome in the business world, and includes your hairstyle, skin health, aroma, breath, cut hands and nails, etc.

A high level image drives your success. Know and apply these 7 maxims of the male image and you will distinguish yourself from others easily projecting a reliable, secure and powerful image.

We will have the best possible time, the point is to enjoy and rest.

Tips for a happy holiday with children
You can go directly to ... [hide]

Tips for a happy holiday with children
1. The trip
2. The destination
3. Security
4. Food
5. We all enjoy and as a family
I'm sure you're interested in reading ...
If you liked it, share it!
1. The trip
And speaking of wheels, sometimes we are so convinced of what we are going to happen when we reach the dreamed destination, that we forget that trip until we get there. The trip is very important, almost more than the holidays, even more if we travel with children.

Sometimes it's a long trip, many hours of work and with this heat! You have to stop at least every two hours to rest as much as children, especially the driver because he has a great responsibility.

Try that the little ones go to sleep so that it becomes less heavy. It is a good idea to sit in the back seat to keep company and entertain our children.

There is no one trained, you can be hungry or thirsty, you can get dizzy in the car and vomit or feel bad ... and have to feel close.

The car must have an adequate temperature and even if we have air conditioning or air conditioning, we must ventilate it every so often. We can take advantage of the stops to open all the windows and renew the air.

The room is prepared with everything we need and we make the sea trip more pleasant. Something to chop, water, extra silly, a blanket, towel, toys, music ...

And patience, with the children, if you have a lot of patience, for them it is heavy and boring and we are adults to understand it.

2. The destination
At last we reach our destination. It is essential that it be a suitable place to go on vacation with small children. That has facilities adapted to the entertainment of children. Every time there are more hotels for children, you do not need something so specific, but we think it's also your vacation.

Go to a place where there are children around their age. In this sense, beach destinations and family hotels are an ideal place. It may also be a good idea to go to an apartment or apartment to be with the comforts of home.

In my case, I miss the kind of trips that you do before. Before the UNMF was born, I had not been on the beach for centuries ... I do not like it at all. But I know that now is the best, I do not think that my blonde has an early time, the sea of the sun in the sun without stopping to walk ... so the beach that raised you.

3. Security
In a few vacations with children, we can not forget something as important as security.

Check everything, it's a new place and, in general, they are not adapted to the safety of the little ones. Depth of swimming pools, stairs, windows, kitchens, plugs, cleaning products ...

Beware of distrust, it is too frequent for children to miss the beach, they do not have eyes in the crowds. Devise a way to identify the child with a bracelet or pendant that bears his name and a mobile phone number.

Ayyy for God, ten very careful with drownings, never leave children alone near the water. Every year terrible stories are repeated, in most cases perfectly avoidable.

Be very careful with the sun, always use water protection and children under 3 years old without exposing them. Wear appropriate clothes, glasses, caps ... especially in children of 6 months where creams are not recommended.

If you are traveling with children abroad, take care of diseases, for example, always drink bottled water. And learn about the vaccines necessary to travel to that place.

DO NOT drink alcohol or use drugs, not only if you have to be behind the wheel and drive, but also drink if you have to take care of a child.

And it is clear that in cars, children must be prepared for it.

4. Food
Regarding the feeding of our children, is not it a problem that worries us a lot and overwhelms us? Well, you just have to organize very well.

Call the hotel to verify that you have a microwave, refrigerator, supermarkets nearby. And based on my experience, with small children, the best thing is that the apartments are all prepared. You are taking my BabyCook hehehe

The feeding of the little ones always has to be healthy. but no

The amazing benefits of exercising at night.

The amazing benefits of exercising at night.

At the age of 23, I was a young man who used to party near the nightclubs.

Nevertheless,
I did not wear shoes, trousers and jacket, but my best sneakers, and comfortable clothes for exercise. That's right, I was one of those poor devils you saw through the glass of the gym sweating while you went to the bar with friends. Possibly people felt sorry for me, but the truth is that I do not care. The benefits of that routine are noticed by themselves.

And you wonder, what about the studies that say that exercising at night is bad? You may have heard something that night training can cause insomnia.
Television can seem much more tempting than going for a run. But I support the idea that if you organize your routine and enjoy it, you can have a better time than with one of the best episodes of True Detective. To encourage you to try, I'm going to discuss the eleven benefits of exercising at night that you did not know. Yes, they are eleven.

You will not have to deal with the crowd in the gym: At mid-afternoon the gym is full of people and you can not even take a cardio machine, the weights that touch you or, simply put you where you usually exercise.

You can use the machines as much as you want: When the gym is full and you are up on the treadmill, you feel like everyone looks at you, like you have to use the machine for a few minutes and change. In these hours there will not be that problem.

Man alone in the gym

A particular class is always better: You can improve many more aspects of your exercise technique in any fitness discipline, since the class will practically be for you alone.

You will work harder: A study affirmed that muscular work and strength peaks are achieved during night hours.

The loneliness of the night: You can experience the nightlife in a gym or on the street. It's a nice feeling as long as you do it in a well-known place. You will feel freer

You will be more social: As at this time there will be only a few people exercising, you can engage in quieter conversations with some users, being able to comment on what happened during the day. In the morning we do not usually be very talkative.

You will be able to deal with your problems: The clashes with your boss, with your teacher or with the family will be seen from a more positive perspective at night while you exercise.

Tilted rowing with dumbbell

You will have awakening improvements: If we are used to exercising after waking up, we will have the clock on top at all times (prepare the gym bag, go to the place, take a shower, have breakfast and already 'to the cut'). Doing it at night we will have more time in the morning.

De-stressing: Not all workouts will make you sweat like a chicken. A night class of Yoga can be exactly what you need to get home without that stress of the day.

You will be better served: In a crowded gymnasium it is not possible to take advantage of the wisdom of the monitors, the coaches and all the staff that works there. At night you can ask everything you want because they will be there for you.

You will sleep better: Some studies have found that exercising close to bedtime can make it harder for us to sleep. But another study says that people who perform strength training at night, get higher quality sleep and sleep more than people who exercise in the morning.

There are eleven benefits that you can notice if you train at night. Whether in a gym (more complicated for not having many open until late at night) or on the street (I recommend you go with someone), you will feel really different.

You can follow some tips so that your workouts are efficient, be well hydrated at all times and control the technique of each exercise as we have told you more than once. Get ready to change the schedule, you will see the results soon.
